Initial Irrigation Setup

Everything downstream follows this choice. A reservoir gets one set of amounts to add straight to the tank; an injector gets a separate concentrate recipe per tank, at your dilution ratio. This walkthrough runs a two-part injector, because that is where the mixing instructions actually get interesting.

Coco holds calcium and magnesium and releases potassium in their place, so recommended feed EC and the crop presets shift with the medium you pick.

Concentrate tanks

Each tank is a concentrate your injector pulls from at its dilution ratio. Keep incompatible salts apart so nothing precipitates: calcium in one tank, sulfates and phosphates in another. You assign fertilizers to tanks in the calculator.

What "optimization" means here

Most feed charts hand you grams per gallon and hope your water cooperates. That is backwards. Your source water already carries calcium, magnesium, sulfur, sodium and bicarbonate, and your fertilizers come in fixed ratios you cannot change, so the only real question is which combination of the products you already own lands closest to the profile your crop wants.

Bizon works the problem from the target end. You pick one nutrient per product to dial in exactly, the rest of that product's analysis follows in its fixed ratio, and whatever your measured water already supplies counts toward the target so the fertilizers only have to make up the difference. What you get back is the resulting profile against your targets, the weight to add to your actual batch size, and the order to add it in so nothing precipitates in the tank.

It handles reservoirs and watering cans, direct-feed injectors with multiple concentrate tanks, and batch tanks, in metric or imperial, with acid dosing sized against your water's alkalinity. The screens above are the real interface, filled with a worked example instead of your own numbers.
